Nebraska got commitment #17 in the 2025 class today as defensive lineman Kade Pietrzak chose our beloved Huskers!
Pietrzak picked Nebraska over Oklahoma, Kansas State and Wisconsin.
Pietzrak is ranked a 3-star by Rivals, the #1 player in North Dakota, and ranked as the 42nd-best defensive lineman in the nation. He is listed as 6-4, 250 pounds and is from West Fargo, ND.

On3 ranks him as a 4-star, the 27th-best defensive lineman in the 2025 class, and 319th overall prospect.
According to Rivals, Pietrzak had visited Nebraska on three different occasions and it looked like he was headed to Oklahoma, but:
But defensive line coach Terrance Knighton, Tony White and Matt Rhule did not give up. A decision was expected shortly after his final official visit, but as his recruitment went deeper into July, the door opened for the Huskers to further make their case and swing momentum away from the Sooners and Wildcats.
Pietrzak joins Malcom Simpson of Hitchcock, TX, and Tyson Terry of Omaha North as the defensive line recruits in the 2025 class.
